Anti-Tank Weapons

The infantry answer to armour.

Anti-tank weapons let infantry threaten vehicles. They range from light launchers to heavy crewed weapons and emplaced guns, and each fills a distinct role in stopping armour.

What role AT weapons fill

Anti-tank weapons exist so infantry are not helpless against vehicles. They trade general utility for the ability to damage armour, so they are carried for a purpose, not by default.

Choosing the right AT weapon depends on the target and the situation.

Light versus heavy AT

Light AT is portable and good for harassing vehicles, finishing damaged ones, and dealing with lighter armour. Heavy AT delivers reliable damage against well-protected tanks but is bulkier and more demanding.

Match the weapon to the armour you expect to face.

Emplaced and crewed AT

Emplaced anti-tank guns and field guns defend fixed positions and cover armour approaches. They hit hard but cannot reposition quickly and benefit from a crew.

These are defensive anchors more than mobile tools.

AT ammo logistics

Anti-tank ammunition is more expensive than rifle ammo and specific to its weapon. Carry the correct ammo type and do not over-stock AT weapons you will not use.

A wasted AT shot is a noticeable amount of logistics gone.

Beginner mistake

Pulling heavy AT weapons and ammo for a front with no enemy armour. Carry AT to a known threat, not speculatively.

Field tip

Confirm the armour threat before you equip AT. Then match light or heavy AT to the specific vehicles you expect.
